It's a project to give strength, energy, and keep your hands busy. This kit is called "Fight Like a Girl." In your kit, you'll find everything you need to complete your project: – 1 x 13 cm embroidery hoop – 1 photo printed on fabric (for embroidery) – 1 embroidery needle – 5 colors of embroidery thread – 1 instruction booklet to guide you throughout the project This kit is perfect for beginners, but it's also suitable for those with some experience. With this kit, you'll learn 5 embroidery stitches: the French knot, the backstitch, the overcast backstitch, the loop stitch, and the spider web stitch.

I am Elise, a French artist based near Angers, in France, but I used to live in Boston after spending more than three years in Washington DC, in USA. I am a seamstress and an embroidery artist. My embroidery work is based on historical women who inspire me. With my embroideries, I try to show in the most poetical and political way the beauty and the force of women. The Comptoir was born when I became an immigrant. « The comptoir » means the counter. It’s a place to meet and to learn from new people.
